Introduction
The Chateau des Rigaudieres is an 18th-19th centuries family-run Bed & breakfast. It is set in the middle of its own 5 acre park, surrounded by lawns, apple orchards and forest. The chateau, which has recently been refurbished, is in an idealic, pastoral setting, yet only 4 kms from the nearest village, with all ameneties, and 9 kms from the lovely, historic town of Saumur. The area is a UNESCO heritage site, and is ideally located for visiting the famous Loire Valley chateaux and Loire vinyards. It abounds in historic and picturesque towns and villages, and, or course, places to eat and drink.

There is a kitchen for guest use. Two of the bedrooms and the kitchen are in a separate wing of the house and may be rented as an apartment sleeping up to seven. Rates are from 500-1,000 euros per week, depending on the season.
