Lake Jocassee is the most pristine fresh water mountain lake in the Southeast. The 75 mile shoreline is almost entirely protected as a watershed area and is part of the Jocasse Gorges Conservation Area. Visitors can bring their own boat or rent one for daily adventures or take a guided waterfall tour. Perhaps enjoy a day of world class fresh water fishing or hiking on one of the waterfall laden nature trails. This is truly natures paradise at your doorstep.
