Ashwood Hill Cottage is a fully furnished home, with two bedrooms, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with digital satellite television, VCR, DVD, and a wood-burning Vermont Castings fireplace/stove. Located in Virginia's beautiful the Shenandoah Valley valley near Historic Lexington. The spacious grounds include seven acres of grassy meadows with hardwoods and pines, with over 30 acres of adjoining woodlands. Fully a third of a mile from the country lane which brings you to Ashwood Hill, the long entrance road ensures your total privacy. A hot tub, firepit with bench seating, a picnic bench and a gas barbecue grill are located behind the cottage.

Nearby Attractions
The cottage is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, minutes from Goshen Pass, a spectacular rocky gorge with bathing, tubing, kayaking and hiking. It is located approximately midway between Lexington and Staunton Virginia, just 12 minutes from Interstate 81.

Just short drive away:
Buffalo Springs Herb Farm, Wade's Mill, and Rockbridge Vineyards offer tours, classes, lectures, demonstrations, etc. McCormick Farm, where mechanized farming was born. The baths at Warm Springs. Chamber music at Garth Newel Music Center. Trail riding at River Ridge Ranch.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
A full refund, less a $25 service charge, will be made if cancellation is received at least fourteen (14) days prior to the reservation date, thirty (30) days for weeklong stays, holidays and special events. If cancellation is made within fourteen days, we will either (1) refund your deposit, less the service charge, if we are able to rebook the dates, or (2) issue a gift certificate in the amount of the deposit good toward a future stay of greater than two (2) nights in the event we are unable to rebook the dates. This gift certificate will be valid for one (1) year from the date of cancellation and may not be used on holidays, special event dates or in October. Sorry, there are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
