East Entrance to Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument
The East entrance to Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument is two hours from our Volcano Country Cabins.
* Roads 25 and 99 provide access to the vast blown down forest and views of the legendary Spirit Lake, and are usually open from Memorial Day until snow blocks the roads. Cowlitz Valley Ranger Station is open to visitors daily during the summer season. On Forest Road 99 interpretive talks and walks bring the landscape to life for visitors and can be enjoyed at the numerous view points. Food services and gifts are available at Cascades Peaks Viewpoint. Dining, gas, and other services are offered in nearby communities.

Payments Accepted
Mt. Rainier Lodging Payment Options and Policies:
* We accept Visa and MasterCard and PayPal. We also accept checks if your reservation is at least four weeks away.
* For reservations made more than 30 days in advance we ask for a 50% deposit up front.
* All reservations require full payment 30 days prior to reservation.
* 9.8% taxes will be added
Deposit, Taxes and Fees
Vacation Home Damage and Cleaning Deposits:
* A damage deposit of $300 is required in addition to your reservation. This will be authorized at the time of the rental confirmation. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent, but is fully refundable after our housekeeper has verified our basic cleaning and damage policies are followed. These include on time check out, no damage to the home or contents and basic cleaning.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cabin Rental Cancellations and Refunds:
* Thirty-days cancellation notice is required fora full refund minus 10% cancellation fee. (This helps us cover the Visa transactions costs.)
* No refund for cancellations within 30 days of reservation. If we can rebook the dates we will happily refund the reservation minus a 10% cancellation fee.
* We're happy to adjust your invoice dependening on the final count of guests that stay. We regularly adjust customer invoices up and down based on the number of guests. We only require that you inform us in advance of the total number of guests anticipated.
* No refunds for adverse road or weather conditions, power outages, failure of electronics or appliances including hot tub or other inconveniences out of our control. Of course we are reasonable, if the road is impassable due to a wash-out for instance, we'll refund your stay or help you select new dates to return. The mountain cabins are on well maintained county roads and have always been fully accessible. Traction tires, chains and/or 4-wheel drive may be required at times in the snowy conditions near Mt. Rainier.
